The position requires an experienced accounting professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, rapidly growing and fluid organization. You must be highly analytical, organized and skilled at creating structures and definition in situations that are uncertain or ambiguous.
The successful candidate will adapt quickly to change and will champion the advancement of policies, structure, procedures, and controls that will enhance the finance function at Cajline.
About the Role
- Lead the month end close process, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Responsible for monthly worldwide consolidation of Cajline financial statements,
- Review and consolidate accounting information reported by legal entities, including preparation and review of consolidated balance sheet and income statement analytics.
- Develop a process for and prepare monthly financial reporting package for executive management and Board.
- Ensures the financial records are maintained in compliance with with internal policies and procedures.
- Works with colleagues in the accounting and internal controls teams to ensure appropriate controls and processes are in place.
- Assist in fulfilling audit requirements, as needed.
About You
- Total experience of 5-7+ years in both public accounting and in a fast-growing mid-tier company.
- Experience working at a publicly-traded company is a plus.
- At least two years managerial experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (MBA/MSA a plus). CPA certification is desired.
- Experience working with foreign entities, consolidations and foreign exchange preferred.
- Ability to think critically and recognize discrepancies and anomalies through analysis.
- Able to work independently, follow tasks through to completion and meet commitments, proactively seeking guidance as necessary.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail High energy level with a hands-on approach combined with the ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Experience in presenting and communicating to key business owners and senior management from other disciplines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Workday knowledge is a plus.
